Role Overview

The Market Analyst will support transaction due diligence, market entry studies and asset evaluation mandates. You will collect primary operational data, construct bottom-up market models, synthesize expert interview transcripts and prepare client-facing presentations for investment committees.

Core Responsibilities

  • Synthesizing qualitative findings from direct interviews with industry executives, plant operators, equipment suppliers and regulatory authorities
  • Constructing quantitative models covering supply-demand dynamics, regional asset utilization rates, unit economics and capital expenditure forecasts
  • Conducting structured secondary research across regulatory filings, corporate disclosure documents, trade registries and utility interconnection queues
  • Drafting analytical memoranda, chart books, risk matrices and transaction summary decks for senior client leadership

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data Analytics or related quantitative discipline
  • Proven capability in quantitative data analysis, advanced financial modeling and presentation design
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to distill complex technical findings into concise executive prose
  • Intellectually curious attitude toward physical asset operations, energy transition systems and advanced manufacturing sectors
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German, French or an additional European language is advantageous
